Despite the Cleveland Steamers kicking the crap out of some new team, as I saw Andrew V. rounding 2nd I knew we were on the verge of history. With the ball still in the center fielder's possession, I knew what I had to do. I began windmilling my right arm and screaming at him to get going.

I have to admit, in the back of my mind, I did know that there was a chance it would kill him, and when I saw him drop to his knees at the foot of the backstop, I was slightly afraid I had. But Lunzer eventually stood on his own 2 legs with his first career 2 home run game. I'm proud to say I was his basecoach. Nice work, buddy.

I was very happy to round second base and see you flailing about at third.
