Something is happening so I'm going to write about it. Nobody will read it but that's not the point.
Leraw and I are driving to Milwaukee tomorrow morning to see the Minnesota Twins vs. the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday night and Thursday afternoon. On Friday we will head to St. Louis for Friday and Saturday Twins games. Sunday is a travel day to Kansas City where we will catch the Monday and Tuesday games against the Royals. On Wednesday we travel home in time for the big Independence Day weekend. Hope to see y'all out there in the great Midwest. **************************** "If you're not yet a Hall of Famer, maybe you're just not trying" Richard Conniff Smithsonian magazine, January 2009 |

Dang! I didn't know you were hitting all these hot spots!
Did you have a 3rd for this trip originally? You could acution that off. Also, I really hope Truck has AC. |

We tried to find a third but nobody wants to spend that much time with us.
Truck does have AC but will be staying home this time. I think it's spelled auction. **************************** "If you're not yet a Hall of Famer, maybe you're just not trying" Richard Conniff Smithsonian magazine, January 2009 |

Frickin awesome guys. I've wanted to do a nice stadium tour, but my list is only includes Chicago (Not the rat infested shithole), Milwaukee and Detroit. A couple of minor league parks too.
I suggest trying to keep score at each stadium at least once and grabbing a program. --- Kickin' it since Spring '05 2007 Manitor of the year 2007 Kickball Legends Fantasy Football Champion |

Looks like he'll need some help keeping this updated.
I saw Lunzer at the game last night, he's still alive. Played bags, ate in the parking lot, drank and smoked. No major injuries as of 11 pm. Anti-manbunting MUSA member since 2003 |

They were alive upon my departure on Sunday morning. In case anyone's curious, pictures can be found here...

This reeks of Photoshop. I think that it's actually Chester Cheetah playing the guitar.

Errr. Not so much.
There's actually three photos that were taken... check the album out. |

Too legit to quit |
Being able to stand and hold a guitar long enough for a picture to be taken is considered "being able to play the guitar"? Look how far back he is leaning... He is obviously about to fall over backwards.

I doubt redhed hallucinated him playing the guitar. If she did, that's a waste of a hallucination.
Just accept that fact that Lunzer has many layers... like an onion. |

Day 1
Leraw picks me up at home about 9:30. We drive to the A&W in Tomah. After a lovely lunch we go to Milwaukee and check into our hotel. Jed picks us up at the hotel and brings us to his house after a stop to pick up drinks. Pl and Kevin meet us at Jed's and we all wait for Redhed. We tailgated before the game with various other people that stopped by. Thanks to everyone for supplying all of the necessities and to Kevin for doing a great job of cooking brats, strawberries and cookies. Sweated in our seats and watched the Twins literally throw the game away. Post game was more tailgating and then I'm pretty sure we went to Colonel Hart's. **************************** "If you're not yet a Hall of Famer, maybe you're just not trying" Richard Conniff Smithsonian magazine, January 2009 |

Day 2
Leraw and I took the hotel shuttle to and from the Twins victory. I went to the hotel pool then we headed to Habenero's for a delicious dinner. We then headed to Leff's with Jed, Jen and Dante. Leraw went back early and I closed the bar down with Jarecki. **************************** "If you're not yet a Hall of Famer, maybe you're just not trying" Richard Conniff Smithsonian magazine, January 2009 |

Day 3
Pick up Redhed and head south. Stop for lunch at Bonanza in Lincoln, Ill and eat way too much "food". Arrive at Marriott Union Station and check in. Grab a beer at the Beechwood Bistro then head to the game. Busch stadium is the nicest ballpark I've been to, but beer $7.75. Post game we met up with Sparky, his dad, uncle, brother-in-law and other South Dakotans headed to Mike Shannon's then to Laclede's Landing which is a nice bar district. At one bar i was invited to join the band on stage and play guitar. I told them I don't know how, they said they didn't care. I also may have gotten the lowest score ever on the punching bag video game. **************************** "If you're not yet a Hall of Famer, maybe you're just not trying" Richard Conniff Smithsonian magazine, January 2009 |

Day 4
Wake up and head back to the Beechwood Bistro for lunch. We ended up her often because it was never busy. Redhed special order a grilled cheese sandwich that came on moldy bread. Her lunch was free and the rest of our bill was 25% off. Plus, we got a free round of drinks later. We headed to the game and found our seats. They were in the sun. It was close to 100 degrees. We stayed about 3 innings, enough time for Pujols to hit 2 HRs, then headed to a nearby, air conditioned bar. After a pitcher there, we headed back to the Beechwood. After nap time we met up with Sparky and his group and headed to Maggie O'Brien's for dinner. After dinner we went to the riverboat casino and to the Landing for more drinking. We also went to a bar that Twins closer Joe Nathan was at. **************************** "If you're not yet a Hall of Famer, maybe you're just not trying" Richard Conniff Smithsonian magazine, January 2009 |

I think you may have discovered why that place was never busy.
