I would really love to play kickball but appleton is a little far for us to drive. Most of my friends live in fond du lac. There is a demand for a kickball league there. Have you seen how popular the softball leagues are? Kickball would be the same!

Good to hear you are interested in playing kickball. The biggest problem with starting a league somewhere where we are not based, is finding a person to help run it. We would love to expand all over the midwest but lack of help prevents us from doing that. Considering 99% of the people that help with this organization have real jobs so it is a bit difficult unless we get someone to help us that lives in the area.
The next problem we run into is that we need a field and if softball is as popular as you say it is, then finding a field to play at might be harder than you think. I can give the parks a call and ask them if anything would be open, but would need a person to help out there.

A few years back, I actually contacted and talked with the parks department there, to see about interest in having us do a league, but they said they were going to do their own. I'm not sure what ever came of it, but we'd be more than willing to check into it again and hopefully get something going.

We've also discussed having a league in Waupun, where Coach Dan and I grew up. So maybe if we end up there, you FDL peeps might be willing to trek that short distance??
