I am a board member of Milwaukee Urban Gardens (MUG). Our mission is to protect, create and develop community gardens and open green space in Milwaukee to enhance urban living for all its citizens. MUG is celebrating our third year of service.

"Planting the Seed - A Benefit for Milwaukee Urban Gardens," will be hosted by Barossa Restaurant, located on South Second. Among Barossa, other contributors include Beans & Barley, Downer Wine & Spirits, Harbor City Brewing, Don Quijote, Tess, the Velvet Room and Simmas Bakery.

Our annual benefit is on Tuesday, September 30. We would like to invite you for hors d'oeuvres and wine or beer. There will be raffle prizes, such as artwork, office chair, stone fountain and gift certificates, and a chance to meet people from all walks of life in the City of Milwaukee. The restaurant is gorgeous and the food will be great.
