As most of you are aware, I have owned the venerable Magic Mala in head to head competition since fantasy Kickball this summer. Tonight, we were able to once again go toe-to-toe on the field of battle when the Fun Machine took on the 24th ranked Crayola's. The team score didn't matter to us in this competition, what I was most interested in was Mala playing defense at 3rd base when I came up to kick. In the 5 or so at-kicks that I got, I sent 3 Mala's way. And yep, you guessed it...I was 3 for 3. The best being a hot liner bouncing of Mala's outstretched right paw as he fumbled to try to make a play on it...falling short yet again.

Cap - 4
Mala - 0

Its certified and I saw it- owned!!

The fun machine has the stamp of approval from the da Commish. we can do no wrong now!!!

i don't know about a hot liner and playing 3B had me a little out of my element

it was more a result of me trying to tip it up to myself because it was just out of reach

I'll give you a point, but let's not get carried away here wee man

I got lots more excuses, too (the "Nellie Factor", no umps for 4 innings, wasn't used to the field, Ray was yelling too much, Danger was missing, no alcohol, slippery field conditions, etc etc)

you bounced back great after fouling off those first two for the out. If it were PD, you can bet I would have been selling something other than the meatball after getting ya the first time. Also, i think Death gets an assist on the 2nd HR for having hidden angles that made it tough to pull off the bounce off of him for the 1st out and just miss ya cuz i misplayed it. i think i need to return to central ball cuz it doesnt seem as fun out in the sticks, but maybe thats cuz i am not drinkin as much these days?

Joe, keep in mind...you played the Fun Machine. Not every game and every team can compare to a game against the Fun Machine...we do what we can to make sure all involved are having the best 45 mins of their lives!

we do generate a lot of fun of there.

so in a way you are saying my assumption that central kickball was the key to fun is in a way incorrect, because if i stayed for the second game not against the fun machine, i wouldnt have had any fun?

I believe that statement is fundamentally correct.
