It's takes a great game by one of us to get by one us. Possibly a blessing in disguise because it is better for us to play you in one of the early rounds just because of our age. We played our best game of the day against you guys and then slightly faded over the last two games.

No disrespect to the Spankers but the championship game was played on wick 7 at 4:15 PM when Vandelay and SuperDudes went to battle. Another epic battle and luckily we put the defense together for a win. The road to the championship goes through Vandelay and for the first time in three games we prevailed 4-1.

Shout out to the Togglers who made it to the Final 4! Amazing run and thanks for fucking up my bracket. Mark Nelson is the best pitcher your mom and dad never told you about.

Another shout out goes to Tap That Ass! They won the midseason tournament and then strung together some solid wins against the previously unbeaten Chicago team and heavyweight Blue Balls. Big Sherm has put together something special and they should not be taken lightly in the future.

The Spankers...I will admit there is no team in MUSA that I admire and like more than the Spankers. They are a HOF team because they are great kickballers and great guys in the bar and
after the game. To prove how great they are, they have only lost to Vandelay, SuperDudes, and O'Brien's Machine in the last year.

Anyways...tired...fading toward the light...goodnight MUSA.

Thanks Dusten, we put together another great run yesterday, I was proud of the Spankers. We just didn't have enough fire power against you guys in the championship, not too mention we only got Joy, Lexi, Sheree and Emily out 2 times(I think) all game.

Got to admit, was a little strange playing against the Superdudes, but I figured it was going to happen one of these tournaments. My guess is that nobody in the history of MUSA has had to play against one of his/her teams in the championship game.

Congrats to the dudes.

Also, congrats to the hall of fame inductees, all definitely deserve to be selected.

Shout out to Tap that Ass for becoming our #1 fans during that championship game, that was awesome.

Well, I'll be shocked if I make it up till 9:00 tonight. After playing in 7 games, drinking a ridiculous amount of alcohol at Long Wongs, making a few appearance on the dance floor and a trip to Brothers with The Body, Stive and Mal, I'm beat!

Another great season is in the books.

Second that, Renna. Great tourney, Superdudes. While we were unable to match the A game that the Dudes brought, I was able to add a car alarm to my repertoire over the course of the day so all was not for naught. Congrats on the title!

Thanks Renna and Opie - Great game to you guys as well. I was surprised the Vandelay attack was held to 1 run after that display of great kicking from the Spring. I thought we were in trouble again with that wind going out to right/center. Especially after seeing Legend's bomb against Liquor. Till the next time.

Oh, and I personally caught the Car Alarm sound, awesome job.

I also caught the car alarm...I found myself reaching for my keys to make sure it wasn't the SuperDude Mail Truck....but luckily, it wasn't...

Congrats Superdudes. You guys definitely earned the lunchbox. Best game I watched all day was Dudes vs. Got Gas? and it was a lot of fun (and not a little disappointing) to be part of another Vandelay-Superdudes game.

For my part I was outmatched and outplayed on the Wick 7 mound. Lord Kickball, I thought I figured out your pitch long ago, but you owned me (and most of the Vandelay squad) for 7 innings. You guys had baserunners every inning, got the big kick when you needed, and never made a mistake. Great run overall. I hope I get another chance at you guys someday.

Thanks Scott...i'd be lying if i said that we weren't a little nervous knowing that we were gonna face you on the mound again after the way you dismantled us and our girls that last time you played with VI against us....we were fortunate....you're a class act and it's always a pleasure to play with or against you.

I grabbed a the box at the end, there were only 5 shirts and all the ring pops. I do recall a tiny little barbie, sporting a 9 months prego belly leaving long wongs, pretty sure she gave birth to some superdude lunchbox shirts when she got home.

I do remeber how stupid we looked driving to brothers at 2am with a breathalyzer wearing a haltertop ripped lunchbox shirt driving, a giant gorilla at shotgun, then a pimp, a slutty cop, and a random chick in the backseat.

We shouldn't worry bout those shirts...everyone knows that Dusten "Calvin Klein" Hatfield will be designing a new and improved Fall 2008 SuperDude Championship Shirt....likely to be available in several styles and colors....the guy is a real fashion genius.

Hey - congratulations to the teams in the championship. Superdudes - nice win of the Lunchbox. Hopefully you drank out of it often - it's too good not to! I know a lot of people have said that was the championship right there at 4:15, but I'm glad it wasn't. I've never seen you guys play defense as well as you did in that game alone, and we couldn't pull it together as we had in the past against you. 10 more years of these games is going to be a lot of fun.

Spankers - man you guys are so good. It's great that you're still a championship-caliber team. I still think you'll win one of these tourneys. Keep it going!

Togglers - wow! Even though I didn't make the Final Four this year, I get to say I was on a team that made it! (although I didn't play one tourney game with you) Taking out 4 straight EOS teams is awesome - great season, and well-deserved run almost to the finals. You made the Roper proud!!!

RGL - have no idea who you are, but I picked you in my bracket challenge based on what I heard. I've heard ONYD players got some younger players and formed a new team. So much for the old-school team mentality, I guess. Maybe winning is now more important than drinking at EOS?

Congratulations to my fellow HOF inductees. Nelly - this is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY overdue. You deserved this years ago. Awesome!

I agree with that - when one of us has won, it's because of uncommon mistakes by the other. And you guys definitely played the best game of the three I saw you play on Saturday, when you played us. Way to step up. I'm not so sure about the age thing though. I know you and Jeff are older than dirt, but Vandelay has two players under 30, and 7 players 33 and over. The rest are 30-32. It is not easy for us when we go deep into tourneys either, buddy. That's why I can barely move after playing 5-6 games in other tourneys - and that's before this year!
