There was a HUGE turnout for this one! 4 teams. Sweet Chin Music was in first after the round robin play having beaten everyone 2 out of 3. And then because there was only 4 teams, everyone made the playoff (which really made the round robin play pointless). So 1 v 4 and 2 v. 3 and then the winners play for the championship and the losers for 3rd.

I believe the final order was:

#1. Dan Glass's team of pot smokers
#2. Nelsons team minus nelson
#3. Sweet chin music (the clearly dominant team that ended up in third)
#4. Dodgball models under whatever new team they came up with.

the earlier tournies sometimes dont draw that well. i had to put my return on hold due to a halloween party, not that i wont be anything more than a target when i come back, but might have been other folks with stuff going on. still, the streak has been broken. i heard dudes chin got busted up pretty good too.

I think teams got demoralized by our constant domination over the years, hence the less teams. Maybe now that it appears we are indeed human, some other teams will come out of the woodwork.

Then we'll kick everyones ass again.

Yea my face got hit pretty good too. That was just lovely. Glad its not swollen anymore.

pointless? Put up or shut up Stive... round robin was practice to get teams back in the groove. Good thing about so few teams, anyone coming in for the remainder of the tournaments still has a shot because teams don't get many points when so few of teams.

and 2EZ was there, not the Dodgeball Models. That was actually kind of the team I played on. (although Glass' pot smokers is kind of funny)At least we had a couple vets, but we were mostly rookies. I think I might be kicked to the curb because the guy that runs the team is coming back for the next one and they already had 1 sub plus another guy wasn't there.

I might be putting together a team for the remainder...

just saying, what's the point of round robin, if it really doesn't mean anything as everyone gets to play for the win? We fucked up, plain and simple and didn't win in the tourney, so that's not what I'm saying.

ha, and yes, we thought that everyone who was playing with glass looked like they indulged in the reefer from time to time. ha.

This team is not named after the greatest wrestler of all-time, if they were it would be the Peoples Elbows or Luke 3:16

Finishers in order would be sweet chin music, tombstone pile driver, implaler(now since banned), torture rack, and last ride have got to be my favorites. Oh and the diamond cutter
