Better team won both times. Looking at the QB situation as the deciding factor is false. I just hope we get some GD line play so the future of the franchise isnt busted up. You really think Brett wanted to play in that situation? Good luck til the playoffs. You guys are good but I dont think super bowl good.

Yah, Vikings are definitely a top 10 team. It takes a quality team to make the playoffs, and then anything seems to be capable of happening.

Mostly sad, little bit of despair with a hint of optimism over the second half.

More and more, watching these games I realize that it is our play caller that is shitting his pants.

Mike McCarthy gets a hard on over going deep, and leaves Rodgers out to dry with this offensive line. He did the same thing in Dallas a few years ago, in the game Rodgers came in and almost won. He did the same thing earlier this year against the Vikings too.

It wasn't until we started calling plays that were desinged to protect our QB by getting the ball out quickly that we looked decent.

I'm starting the motion...Bring in Bill Cowher!!!!!

I remember a 3-step drop most of the first half. But the success didn't happen until the 2nd half. What would you say was the difference? I assumed it was a change in our defense.

It looked like we went to the first read in the second half, or at least did it much, much quicker.

Hard to tell if it was anything different that your Defense did because the ball came out so quickly. In the first half, it looked like our first read wasn't there and then Rodgers would have to scramble, whether it was a 3 step or 5.

And my biggest problem, we are suppose to be a West Coast team that doesn't run screen passes or slants anymore.

I watched the Philli game, I think they ran about 10 of the them.

It sad to sit and watch 2 teams in our division(Bears and Queers) run high school offenses and be successful yesterday. Nothings changed on this team and it's sick. My blood pressure was through the roof yesterday but I can't say I didn't expect it. Came out flat, didn't run the ball, and AJ Hawk was on the field for tooo many plays. The defense looks lost half the time.

Here's my two cents: it's put up or shut up time. This team doesn't make the playoffs, McGriddle and Ted need to go. McCarthy can't get his team focused and motivated in big games, plain and simple. This whole team is THEIR group of players that they wanted. If they can't win with this talent...your fucking fired! No state in the union with sports teams let there terrible coaches stick around as long as the state of Wisconsin does. Bunch of fucking bums my friends

Favre looked great. A-Rodg looked great. What was the difference? To me, it's the defense. Our secondary, with pro-bowlers Al Harris, Charles Woodson, and Nick Collins, got picked apart by Favre. The D needs to step up. You can't allow 38 points and expect your QB to win the game for you.

I have to agree with Sinister here with the slants and screens. I think I saw 2 screens all day (one worked, one didn't). We threw slants all the time with Favre and they're pure gold! Why aren't we doing both of these things more often?

Official stat corrections generally aren't released until Thursday by the NFL.

Please check back with me then, once we can verify there were no wild point swings handed down by the NFL. Until then, you've won once officially, and once unofficially.

Just because ARodg is the quarterback for the the Packers doesn't mean we all need to love and defend him. I think he's a good QB, but too much is being made of his young career. He definitely has a nice passer rating so far, but I think that is also a result of holding onto the ball too long and not throwing the smart incompletion or taking enough chances and getting rocked in the process. The pass pro isn't very good, but ARodg could also take some pressure off of himself with getting rid of the ball earlier. His sacks are definitely a combo of bad line play and him holding onto the ball too long. What I see (and this is all personal opinion) is a QB that isn't very confident and is tightening his asshole more and more every week. I think the pressure has gotten too him and he def needs to loosen up as a player. He is afraid of making mistakes, and that's the kiss of death for a qb.
As for the play calling argument - The play calling might not be the best, but we have no idea what's going on behind the scenes and what went down on Wednesday's practice, or what they saw on film, etc. I think placing the blame on the play calling is presumptive and pure conjecture. Its not as easy saying "throw a slant".
    Favre is better than Rodgers.
The Vikings have a pretty damn good D - the Packers do not.
The Vikings have a much better running back and o-line.
Vikings have a better return game.
It isn't a surprise that the Packers lost to the Vikings twice this season. They are a year away from going 6-10, first year in the 3-4 defense, and ARodg has yet to beat a team with a winning record.
