Appeared to be a dislocated shoulder, just wanted to be sure that's all it was. Not that a dislocated shoulder is good, but it's better than torn tendons and the like.

I am so used to everything being in the kickball area I didnt see this til my sis brought it to my attention. In a sling now. Basically was a dislocated shoulder. I tried to throw the ball hard and about half way around heard a pop and my arm locked down to my side. They got er back in about 4 hours later after all the waiting but man did that 4 hours suck big time. MRI in mid Jan and hopefully the thing reconnects. Dodgeball future will likely include just coaching and running tournies. This is an injury that happened from years of abuse and I partly blame playing in some leagues that use the sponge balls as that is when I started having issues. I also blame 187 just because. And maybe Smoking Pitcher too a little. Hoping to be ship shape for kball season though, realizing this probably knocks a few dollars off my contract.

They guy I saw said they wouldnt know if tendon damage is there until the MRI shows whats going on. Xrays apparently only show breaks and stuff. |

34 today. What didja get me for my birthday? Like I said, years of dball throwing trauma. I dislocated my arm by throwing a ball hard for a number of years. Should stick to kicking and running sports I guess. |

Then what happens if you dislocate a leg from all those years of running and kicking? Oooh, bad thought...

Hee, I figured. It kind of sucks. At least on a Saturday. 80 billion people. The bumper cars are kind of cool, and you can win a lot of tickets at the trivia thing, especially if you get a lot of peeps to play. The air hockey sucks and ALL the pizza tastes the same. And eveyone in the place will run into you at some point. You also have a big chance of bumping your head on something. Have fun shooting things!! But isn't it hard to shoot stuff with one arm? |
