Floor Hockey!!!

Snow worthy Floor Hockey may be the winner for most wanted Kickball off season sport...

Here is the first proposed suggstion I have received for Floor Hockey...

Need
=======
hockey sticks (Wal-mart or K-mart sells these for around 10 dollars. Get the ones with plastic bottoms for street hockey)
orange rubber balls or tennis balls
Two nets or
makeshift wooden rectangular nets

Venue
======
Tennis courts


Rules
======

To keep the game safe,

1> we should limit or outlaw checking

2> No slapshots, only wrist shots or snap shots allowed in close quarters

3> might make sense not to have goalies and maybe players can only shoot at the net within 10 feet of the net!!

4> Can't raise sticks above hip level


What do you think? Of course we can change these rules if people are not having fun. We could enforce offsides just to make sure people don't stand around waiting for the breakaway pass.
